01. The Client
Carolina Gómez, better known on social networks as @carofit_, studied Nutrition at the University of Sonora. The decision to pursue this career allowed her to open the doors for the creation of the Caro Fit Guide program ®️, a 28-day challenge through which more than 30 thousand women have passed. These women have focused on changing their lifestyles, improving and maintaining healthy habits, and gaining health under the guidance of Carolina Gómez.
02. The Process
The redesign process of the CaroFit Guide website was a project focused on improving the aesthetics and functionality of the website, seeking a cleaner and more elegant design. The following is a step-by-step description of the process:
- Evaluation of the existing website:
- The first step was to conduct a thorough evaluation of the current CaroFit Guide website. Problem areas and areas in need of improvement were identified.
Goal setting:
- Clear goals were set for the redesign, such as improving the user experience, increasing usability, and achieving a more attractive and elegant design.
Audience research:
- Audience research was conducted to understand the needs and preferences of CaroFit Guide users. This included reviewing feedback from existing users and gathering demographic information.
Creating a design plan:
- A detailed plan was drawn up, including page structure, navigation, main sections and features to be highlighted.
Diseño visual:
- Work was done to create a new visual design that reflected the desired aesthetic of "cleanliness" and "elegance". This included the selection of a more sophisticated color palette, legible fonts and visual elements that conveyed quality and professionalism.
Redesign of the user interface:
- The user interface was redesigned to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. The navigation menus were simplified and the contents were reorganized so that users could find information more quickly and easily.
Speed and load optimization:
- Website loading speed was improved to ensure a smoother user experience. This included image compression and code optimization.
Testing and corrections:
- Performed extensive testing of the redesigned website to identify and correct any problems or errors. Ensured that all functions and links were working properly.
Launch:
- Once the redesign was completed and tested, the new CaroFit Guide website was officially launched.
